Is someone you know going to college and pursuing a career in the HVAC industry? ASHRAE has local scholarships available to help reduce the financial burden of getting an engineering education. Scholarships are an excellent source of money… They are basically a gift that never has to be paid back!
KC ASHRAE has one $3000 scholarship and two $1000 scholarships available for students pursuing an engineering degree. Applications are due on December 2nd, 2022. The application can be downloaded here.

Student to Professional ASHRAE Membership Transition
If you were an active student member of ASHRAE that has graduated and become a professional in our industry you can apply for the Smart Start Program. This gives you a discount on being a professional member of ASHRAE for your first 3 years out of school. The first year costs $20 and your second and third years only cost $50 each! You save up to $420 in membership fees.
